PustakoPahar 2025 – Book Exchange Program
One Book Can Be a Source of Knowledge
for Someone Else!
Kendriya Vidyalaya ONGC Agartala is organizing a Book Exchange Program called Pustakopahar 2025, aimed at encouraging students to share knowledge by exchanging books.
This initiative will help create a culture of reading while promoting sustainability
by reusing books.

Date: 27th March 2025
Participants: Students from Class 1,2,3,6,9,10,11 & 12
What is Pustakopahar?
Pustakopahar is a book exchange program where students can donate and receive books in return. The idea is simple: Bring a book, take a book!
You can submit your old textbooks, course books, storybooks, or general knowledge
books, and in return, pick another book that interests you.
Book Categories Accepted
NCERT Textbooks
Course Books (Reference books for competitive exams, academic subjects, etc.)
Story Books (Fairy tales, fables, short stories, novels, etc.)
General Books (Biographies, history, science, self-help, etc.)
Books Not Accepted:
Torn, damaged, or missing pages
Books with excessive markings or personal notes
Magazines, newspapers, or pamphlets
Religious or political books
How to Submit Books?
Step 1: Collect Your Books
Select books that are in good condition and useful for others.
Ensure no missing pages, excessive scribbles, or damage.
Step 2: Visit the Library for Submission
The book submission window is open from 20th to 25th March 2025.
Students must submit books to the librarian/Class Teacher and provide
their name, class, and book details in the submission register.
A Pustakopahar Token will be issued for each accepted book.
Step 3: Redeem Books on 27th March 2025
On the event day, bring your Pustakopahar Token to the library/Class.
Browse the available books and choose the one you like.
Submit the token at the counter to complete the exchange.

Important Notes:
Book submission is mandatory for participating in the exchange.
Students can submit multiple books and get an equal number of tokens.
Only books approved by the librarian will be accepted.
